Duplo was probably by far the worst waste of money and time and development when they could have put all of that effort into making LEGO even better than it is today. But the Juan de Fuca trail has quite a few camp spots, so you don need to camp at Sombrio if you don want to. Avoid the Canadian long weekends if you can, as Sombrio itself has turned into a bit of a party beach.
Only in metro Washington would these 2 statements seem logical in the same story. No harm, no foul. The strap is nylon and the same type of material that you may find on a backpack strap. The strap is about 0.75 inches wide and the length of the strap is a little over 2 feet long; it should accommodate most people's heads easily. As with most ball gags, you will drool because you cannot swallow, but the holes in the ball do allow for some vocalization.
